The Agrawal Shiksha Mandal, a philanthropic organization of Mathura, founded the B.S.A. College of Engineering & Technology in 1997, when it was realized that Mathura urgently needed an Engineering College to cater to the technological needs of the region. About Us
With a strong history of preparing leaders, our college allows students to take advantage of the breadth and depth of our engineering education and research. The common thread through all our programs is the commitment to the highest quality learning experience for every student in every area of Engineering and Computer Science. The academic atmosphere at the Institute is a rare blend of modern day technical skills and the traditional emphasis on imparting knowledge. The faculty as well as the students who have qualified from the Institute have always done the country proud through their outstanding achievements and leadership qualities. The academic and cultural activities at BSA provide a platform where all students come together and explore the individual and group talents and resources.
Spread over an area of 14.5 acres in the heart of the city within the Municipal limits, the College provides a healthy climate for technical education that paves the way for a brilliant career and prepares human beings who can stand steadfast in the highly competitive global market.
The Campus comprises twin three-storeied academic blocks, two Mechanical Engineering Blocks, 4 hostels including a separate girl’s hostel, the Director’s Residence, 12 well-built staff residences and a Cafeteria. Round the-clock-uninterrupted power supply is ensured to the College and hostels through one 250 KVA, two 82.5 KVA and seven 7.5-15 KVA generators installed in the campus. A huge overhead water tank ensures 24-hour water supply. The College and all hostel has Internet connectivity through 10 MBPS leased line circuit from the BSNL.
The College is centre of quality- oriented technical education, well equipped labs, competent and dedicated faculty, conducive environment and innovative teaching techniques and a rich library. The LCD Projector and the OHP are regularly used by the faculty members for impressive and effective teaching and learning process.
Perseverance, patience, dedication and discipline are the hallmarks of the personality of the students from this college. Every effort is made to inculcate a frame of mind, which will help students in serving the Society and the nation in the best possible manner. Excellent results have become synonymous with the College since its inception and this is clearly reflected in the University best 25 Colleges amongst 218 Colleges under UPTU including Govt. Engg. Colleges.

(IV).Infrastructure:LIBRARY
Library has always been the backbone of learning, a treasure house for ardent readers. The College Library is armed with more than 18000 books for B.Tech students. It furnishes audio-visual aids, journals, periodicals, conference proceedings, magazines & newspapers to satiates the desires of every pupil of this College. It houses wide-range of books on Engineering & Technology, Management , Science, Literature.
The Computerized search system is an added feature of library to assist students in locating their information resource. The College prides in offering the best learning resources to the students and providing access to numerous National and International Journals through INDEST consortium. The internet provides comprehensive information to students and faculty members. The long opening hours of the library enable students to utilize its vast potential.
A Separate section of over 2852 books is maintained exclusively for the MCA Students.
The 1500 volumes of BIS codes enable students to keep abreast of the standards set by Govt. of India in different fields of Engineering.

Training & Placement Cell
The mission of Training & Placement Cell is to provide employment opportunities & world class training to BSA students in leading organizations. BSA has a well-developed Training & Placement Cell headed by a Training & Placement Officer having good relationship with the industry.
Selection Procedures
Campus Recruitment : Selection is typically based on group discussions and/or personal interviews on campus. Organizations are requested to finalize a mutually convenient date for their visit to the campus well in advance. After the selection process, organizations are requested to announce the list of selected candidates on the campus itself.
Off-Campus Recruitment : Selection is typically based on applications made by students against specific organizational requirements. Organizations, which are unable to visit the campus, are requested to finalize the list of selected students and intimate the Placement Bureau of the same at the earliest. It is important to note that students apply to several organizations and once a student has accepted an offer he/she cannot accept any subsequent offers. It is therefore requested that a waiting list of students is provided, whom the organization shall consider for summer placements, in case students from the original list have already accepted other offers.
