Buddha Institute of Technology is approved by A.I.C.T.E. and affiliation to U.P.T.U. The programs of the institute are recognized all over India and abroad. It boasts of a strong Academic- Industrial interaction with high quality of research and consultancy and has close collaborative links with industries in the field of Automobile, Aerospace, Defence, Textile, Machine Tools, Software Development, Civil industry, Manufacturing Sector etc.
The academic building is a highly modern huge building with 5 floors hosting various labs, workshop, lecture theatres, tutorial rooms, offices etc... The main focus of the society is “knowledge based society needs youth for its innovations and also give a lead to the world.” Therefore, it was felt that an academic, technical and professional institute of global standards needs to be established at Gorakhpur.

(A).Chairman:
Dr. R.A. Agrawal Dr. R.A. Agrawal, M.B.B.S, M.S., is the Director of a 60 bedded super specialty 'Agrawal Orthopaedic Hospital and Research Institute' in Gorakhpur. Dr. Agrawal is an internationally recognized orthopaedic surgeon, specialized in Limb Lengthening and Deformity Correction. For his outstanding work for handicapped, he was bestowed upon a National Award by the Government of India in 2003. He has been continuously helping the society by conducting free remedial surgical and environmental protection camps. He is the Chief Editor of Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has authored a number of books and research papers on Bone and Joint Surgery and is an internationally recognized invited speaker in Conferences held in USA, Russia, Egypt & other countries. He has great interest in Technology and Academics.
(b).Secretary
Dr. Rajat Agrawal, M.B.B.S., M.S., a gold medalist, is a young dynamic Orthopaedic surgeon trained in USA. He specializes in Spine Surgery and Paediatric Orthopedics. He has authored and presented number of papers nationally and internationally and has keen interest in Academics and Technology. After working in USA, he got vision and clear understanding as how to develop Buddha Institute of Technology, Gorakhpur, as a globally acceptable technical institute of excellence.
(c). Director General
Prof. A.K. Ogra Prof. A.K. Ogra, the Director General, has more than forty six years of varied experience both in the R & D and academics. He has made significant contributions as the Director, Center for Electronics Design & Technology of India (CEDTI), Gorakhpur. He has been Scientist and Engineer 'SG', Government of India. He is a renowned Scientist & Engineer at National & International level. He is Fellow of Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers of India (IETE) and Technical Member of IPC (U.S.A.).
Prof. Ogra has augmented adequate institutional infrastructure and developed modern laboratories with latest instruments & machines using his vast experience in the field of Engineering & Technology. He has eight industrial products to his credit besides authoring seven books. He has contributed more than 160 research papers besides guiding students in research at all levels. He has been consultant to a number of industries. His untiring hard work and devotion in implementation of solution based approach of science & technology has made it possible to establish this institute of global quality. He is the founder Director of the first private engineering institute at Gorakhpur.
(d).Director:
Prof. N. Guruprasad Before taking over as the Director of Buddha Institute of Technology, Prof. N. Guruprasad was working in Bangalore in one of the most prestigious Engineering college at various posts. Being a Computer Science Professional he has over 18 years of experience in teaching graduate and under graduate students.
His area of interests include Programming in C & Data Structures, Object Oriented Programming with C++, Analysis & Design of Algorithms, Internet Technologies, UNIX & LINUX, Numerical Analysis and Operations Research. He was also a Corporate consultant for firms like : WIPRO, TATA INFOTECH, Deutsche Software, Novell, Mascot Systems, IBM and Adamya technocrats. And content developer for Edurite technologies Private limited. Having more than 20 publications to his credit ( both at National & International level ), Prof. Guruprasad has also authored two books titled, “ Computer Concepts & C Programming “ and “ Data Structures using C “.

(A).Space, Comfort, Security, Home The Institute has highly secure separate hostel for boys and girls within campus with medical and other basic amenities. In addition to a good mess, there are other facilities like common room, sports equipment, washing machines, geyser, etc. to enable the inmates to feel at home and comfortable.
(B).Safety and security in the hostel is prime concern of the Institute.
Safety :
Safety and handling of the students in critical situation is given utmost importance. Adequate provision of firefighting equipment is made on each floor of the hostel complex. A qualified doctor is posted to take care of emergency and first-aid requirements.
Security :
•By adequate and competitive security personnel.
•Adequate locking arrangement for the room during day as well as in the night for proper safety of students.
•Recording of movement of students during night to back up trust and faith entrusted by the parents.
