(III).Welcome to IAMR College of Engineering
IAMR College of Engineering is the recent addition to the IAMR (Institute of Applied Medicines and Research) Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad. The Flagship Institute, IAMR, was established in the year 1999, offering courses in Bio-sciences and Para-medical disciplines. The group established a management school (PGDM) in 2006, followed by an engineering college called Institute of Technology & Management (ITM) in 2007.
IAMR College of Engineering is co-located with ITM spread over an area of about 20 acres. The college started functioning with effect from the academic session of 2008-09 in five branches of engineering viz. Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
The college has developed an intense academic environment that helps in bringing out the best in a student. The teaching-learning pedagogy is student centric with focus on ensuring that the student learns. It has dedicated teaching fraternity with more than required infrastructure and rich library facilities.

IAMR College of Engineering is one of the Meerut’s fastest growing, technology-focused, premier Institutes, affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, Noida. It has, since its inception in 2008, the state of the art infrastructure, laboratories and a team of highly qualified and motivated faculty members. The college is located at a prime location on Meerut –Baghpat highway in a beautiful ambience that stimulates a perfect learning attitude.
All the branches of engineering are being taught here amalgamating the skills of engineering and inter-personal communication skills to cater for the need of the country and the college is all geared to generate highly specialized and quality human resources for various industries, R & D organizations while inculcating leadership qualities among the youth of this country.

Placements
Placement Procedure
Campus Recruitment Programme conducted by the IAMR Meerut is a very vital activity for the students aspiring for appropriate placement in various organization. A close interaction between the Placement Cell and various company executives has created excellent placement record.
The Objective of the placement cell is to provide job to each student. Campus recruitment is meant only for the Students of Final year (and the pass out students if they are eligible). The students who have minimum attendance of 60% are eligible to sit in campus interviews
The students should submit their latest CV to the respective coordinator as soft copy as and when demanded by the Placement Cell. The resume file should be .doc file and name of the file should contain their batch, college roll number and name. e.g. 966… sandeep.doc No other formats will be accepted.
Student can appear in all the interviews till the time he/ she gets selected. Once selected in a particular comapny, he/ she has to join the same and put in minimum six months with that organization & cannot appear for further campus interviews. The students should maintain punctuality for all placement drives.
If a student gets offer from more than one company, then he/she must inform the companies about the job offer he/she wishes to accept, through the Placement Cell before completing his/her studies.
(II).Placement Policy
We, at IAMR Meerut believe in preparing students for immediate placements in the industry. The placement process begins in September with the compilation of profiles of students and the preparation and printing of the placement brochure. Students, along with faculty members visit industries from October to December and distribute placement brochures in print and electronic forms and invite them to visit the campus for pre-placement presentations. Companies start visiting the campus for pre-placement discussion from December to the end of January.The Placement Process at IAMR Meerut aims to match the requirements of the Corporate World with the aspirations of the students thereby facilitating the achievement of synergy between the two.
The Pre-Placement Talks or Company Presentations are an opportunity for the Companies to interact with the students, understand their expectations and apprise them of the job requirements and job profiles offered.This process is usually conducted in the month of February, and can continue fortnight before the Final Placements. Companies are required to conduct a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) so that they can interact with the students. Companies may invite CVs of interested students and shortlist students on the basis of their profiles before coming on campus.
