It has been more than three decades for KNIT, standing firm with itself being recognized by people as one of the premier institutions, not only in the list of GBTU colleges but also throughout the nation.
Ever since its establishment it has been trying to deliver its best in all the spheres of a student’s all round development, whether its education , extra-curricular , sports and much more.
Like a potter, when he makes a pot out of earth (mud), tries to ensure that every single edge and corner of his job is uniformly formed , the same is with the faculty of this institution. Experienced and highly qualified faculty has been recruited to help the students not just become bookworms and cram the syllabii like geeks , but to understand the importance of what they are studying in day to day life, by displaying every bit of the theory practically.
These efforts are showing their metal which can be seen in the recent achievements of the KNITians in various techfests , culturalfests , sportsfests , being conducted in various renowned colleges nationwide. Within the reaches of the campus various national level councils and forums of every branch exits , that work actively throughout the year by conducting various technical and non-technical events.

The groomed students of KNIT, are finally being placed in various core and multinational companies and are achieving the zenith of success on each path they choose to walk upon. Working not only as employees in renowned countries but also as the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and holding other respectable posts too. Rather capable enough to open their own firms too, being proved true by a number of KNITians.But this is not achieved by them by sitting in their closets and just studying or simply showing their extra-curricular skills and finally declining in studies. The extremity of everything is bad. Balance is required and this is the law of nature. Students should remember that they have entered in KNIT, to study at its foremost.
The activities taking place within the campus are just to groom their persona and make them meet their true self. After the time of recession when the placements are being very rare and selective , the IT sector companies are still coming to KNIT and selecting a good number of students. The students’ hardwork and their zeal to prove themselves is purely evident from this. The college has been working really hard with the help of TPO(Training and Placement Office) to give the students what they deserve and make them feel that “Getting into KNIT was a right decision that they made four years back”.

(I).VOCATIONAL TRAINING
B.Tech students are required to undergo ‘Vocational Training’ as per the provision of training in their curricula arranged by the institute during summer vacation. The students will bear the traveling and other expenses for the training. Marks assigned for the training are awarded on the basis of training report and vivavoce examination.
(II).PLACEMENT
The institute has a full fledged Training & Placement cell under the Training & Placement Officer (TPO) who is a senior faculty member. The Training & Placement office also looks after the placement of the students. The various reputed Industries /Organizations conduct campus interviews regularly for selecting suitable candidates in their respective organizations.
