The PIET, located in the National Capital Region is established in the year 2009 by Panchwati Education and Social Welfare Trust under the Self Financing Scheme of Govt.of India. PIET has an intensive academic environment that brings out the best in the students. It lays claim to the finest faculty in the region, offers the best laboratory infrastructure. It also has the well stocked library with over 5,000 volumes and subscribes to a number of journals.
The PIET has been chosen 6 Kms from the Meerut city on Delhi-Haridwar bypass to provide a healthy learning environment to the students. The institute also enjoys its close proximity to Ghaziabad, Noida and Delhi which facilitates frequent industrial visits to the students. Manufacturing firms and service organizations are being set-up with the state of the art of latest technologies and management practices. These new brands of Industries and service sectors need altogether a group of highly motivated and meticulously trained skilled persons. Therefore, the concept of technical education now has been converted into world class standard to cop up with the latest development taking place. These days, in addition to good technical knowledge, prominent hard and soft skills, like professional communication, creative thinking, project management, decision-making skill, team work attitude, leadership qualities and deep sense of quality consciousness have become most essential.
