(I).Shanti Institute of Education (S.I.T.) has been established by the Shanti Educational Society, Meerut from the session 2008-2009.The Institute is duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E, MHRD, GOI, New Delhi) and the State Government of Uttar Pradesh and affiliated to U.P.Technical Education University,Lucknow
Shanti Educational Society first institution is 'Shanti Institute of Technology'. This commitment to the development of society through higher education will keep growing without compromising at all on quality of education to be infracted. The infrastructure of the institute will be added on progressively.
RAGGING POLICY
Ragging is strictly banned in our institution in compliance with the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court passed in SLP(C) No. 24295/2004 and communicated by UPTU and UGC, which is as follows.

be clearly stated that if any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel him from the institution.”
(II).From The Chairman’s Desk
The management board of SIT id offering this high-tech engineering to the parents of the aspiring youth of our society with the philanthropist’s attitude. The philanthropic activities of the olden days have taken modern forms. One of these forms is to open a state of the art technical institute by spending sizeable resources for the good of the society and thereby contributing to the creation of usefully and dignifiedly employable human resource asset.
Shanti Institute of Technology is shanty educational society’s first engineering institute. This is a mission and commitment to the development of the society through higher technical education and this mission will keep getting enlarged and strengthened as we go along.
The infrastructure of the institute is enviable large and modern and it will be further added on progressively as the student intake increases every year. Separate hostels for boys and girls are to be built soon as per the master plan of the institute. In the mean time, hostel accommodation for students, separately for girls and boys, will be arranged before hostels in the campus of the institute are started.
The tuition fee structure I strictly as per the AICTE norms.

((B).LECTURE HALLS
At SIT, Lecture halls are logistically designed to impart high quality education and to have a dynamic learning process. These lecture halls are well equipped with modern teaching aids like over head projectors, Multimedia aids, LCD etc.
(C).LIBRARY
Library is always known as the hart of any Institution and acts as the centre for the well balanced collection of Books, Journals, Research Papers and Periodicals in various fields of Management and Technology. It also includes information which is useful for teaching and reference purpose. Each library is housed in spacious hall comprising of the reference hall and stack area with spacious reading room. The library of SIT has total strength of more than 2,00,000 of publications and more than 300 Nationals & International Journals in Computer, Engineering, Management, Law, Education and Pharma etc. The Library also contains audio - visual facilities. The Group has DELNET, which allows the students to work on digital network of libraries belonging to Premier Institutions across the world. SINET facility is also available to study programmes of other Universities.
Campus is also equipped with WiFi.
