Message from the Desk of Group Chairman
I set out to create little islands of constructive education. Along the way, I found myself on the path of satisfactorily successful endeavors, of delivering quality education.
Partly personal strength of purpose, partly the acceptance of the masses; is what makes the Sherwood Educational Group story. Establishing institutions that turn into incubatories of the mind; has been my sole ambition.
I look upon my endeavor as an effort to set up centers of exceptional educational excellence.
Our educational endeavor will continue to emphasise on a disciplined academic plan, access to quality education and opportunities in the corporate world; to further enhance our contribution as a quality education group.
And to the parents and students who have trusted me over the years, I say – have faith, for faith produces the most dramatic results!
About Us
Er. K.B.Lal belongs to descent and Jamindar family of Gorakhpur. He completed his early education from Gorakhur and in 1963 secured top rank in the region in class X UP Board examinations. After completion of BSc, he joined Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College, an Engineering college of national repute in Gorakhpur and passed out in 1972 with distinction. He Joined U.P.Engineering Services in 1972 and served for more than 20 years in different capacities. His services in social field were widely acclaimed and he was awarded by Hon'ble Governer of U.P. in the year 1968 & again by Hon'ble Chief Minister of U.P. in the year 1881 for his remarkable contribution in flood control. From early childhood he has a vision to do something in the field of education as result Sherwood Academy was established in the year 1989 and in subsequent years some prestigious professional colleges were added in the feather of Sherwood Educational Group with the vision that a student starting from childhood education secure a professional degree from these institutions of the same group.

Energies of the youth are not only channelised unidirectionally but developed in a multidimensional fashion. In our endeavour of Human Resource Development in a specialized professional field; we believe not only in informative education but also transformative education embedded with good value system. With a highly qualified and experienced faculty and a group of professional managers as guest faculty, teaching-learning process at SEG aims at developing talent through competence building. The programs aim to impart students- knowledge, skills, attitude and character of a high order to enable them to face the competitive corporate world.

Pallavi Lal Malaviya , Vice Chairperson & Placement Director is a management graduate from University of Lucknow. She has also completed EPHRM from IIM, Lucknow. With an experience of about 6 years, she has already created a niche for herself not only amongst students but also in the educational group. Recognized as a people's person, her cosmopolitan outlook has always given her an edge over others. She is held in high esteem and is considered a dynamic and vibrant leader. Her personality embodies a deeply inculcated, value -based and hands- on approach. She is truly, a mentor. Continually imparting relevant training and motivational sessions to deserving candidates she leads by example. She is a doer to the core. The face of the group's future, she lends immense value to the core brand by bringing to her tasks, a distinctive functional style.
